David is a Partner with KSDT CPA where he brings his 40+ years of experience, focusing his practice on tax and accounting for high-net worth individuals and specializing in the hospitality, technology, real-estate, legal and health care industries. David has been a consultant to both public and private emerging growth companies and has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, business valuations, and IRS 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges. In addition, he has extensive experience in litigation support and business mediations where he is trained in both a certified family mediator and as a Neutral Financial Professional in the Collaborative Divorce process.

Prior to KSDT, Goldweitz has owned his own practice as well as worked for large reputable CPA firms. He has been a guest lecturer at Miami-Dade College and the University of Miami as well as a guest contributor to CBS4- Miami to explain the Tax Reform Vote. David also served on the Merrill Lynch Client Advisory Board – Miami Beach and was an approved instructor for The NASD on Broker-Dealer accounting. and also served on the Merrill Lynch Client Advisory Board.

David is very in involved in the local community and has served for more than 20 years on the executive board of the Children’s Bereavement Center and is currently on the Board of the South Dade Branch of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He was a member of The Greater Miami Jewish Federation planning and budgeting committee and a former campaign chairman of The Greater Miami Jewish Federation-Young Adult Division. David also served as a trustee of Greenfield Day School

David is a CPA licensed to practice in Florida and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts
